Bringing a New Home to Life

I recently purchased a new home and we have been working on bringing it to life for the past two weeks. We've been painting and organizing, decorating (according to budget) and adding new furniture. I wanted to share the new plants we got today to add to our lovely home.






(Yes, he will be getting a bigger pot.)

Weeping Fig - Ficus benjamina braided stem

Bright, not in direct sunlight.
Keep moist, soil must not get dry.
Fertilize every 2nd month.



Dragon Tree Asst. - Darcaena marginata

Bright, not in direct sunlight.
Water thoroughly, allow soil to dry out in between.
Reduce watering in wintertime.
Fertilize every 2nd month.



Billig - Tropical plants

Bright, not in direct sunlight.
Water thoroughly, allow soil to dry out in between.
Fertilize 1ce a month.

Pretty. :-) I bought some geraniums and lithops today. Geraniums for our deck and front porch. Lithops to put in my room and see how they fare.

I just love adding new plants but it gets so overwhelming sometimes. All the choices!

Yeah, we went to the nursery today and I had to really focus on what I went there for. ;-)

I love geraniums.
I got a purple clematis for mothers day and a white jasmine.
Congrats on the new house.
